Carbone GM Celebrates New Location with Ribbon Cutting

Carbone GM officially unveiled its new location on Route 12 in Utica on Wednesday, September 19th, with the help of the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce. Local dignitaries, including County Executive Anthony Picente and Assemblyman, and Congressional candidate, Anthony Brindisi, were on hand to help celebrate the latest accomplishment as part of Carbone’s 20 in 2 initiative.

With twelve projects across New York and Vermont, Carbone is making a significant investment in the community and have a significant impact on the local economy.

“The New Carbone Buick Cadillac GMC store sits on a pretty significant site for Carbone Auto Group,” said Don Carbone.  “It has been the home of several Carbone facilities throughout the years, most recently our former corporate offices. So seeing new activity here not only brings back some fond memories, but makes me feel a great sense of pride in what the future holds.”

Since separating from its shared space with Carbone Chevy, Carbone GM has been able to bring in more inventory than ever before, offering customers a wider selection of new and used vehicles. The new store also has more service bays, allowing customers to have their vehicles serviced more quickly by our highly trained technicians. But the new store means more to the community. It means more jobs and economic growth for the city and county. And being so close to the revitalization of downtown puts Carbone GM right in the heart of the many great things happening in Utica and the surrounding areas.

“The Carbone family has always meant a lot to this community,” said Anthony Brindisi as he joined members of the Carbone family, and employees of Carbone GM in the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon. “Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do.”
